Which books do I recommend?
Instead of listing my book recommendations here, I do that in several places on Social Media.
On Goodreads, you can follow me to see what I’m reading and what I do and do not like. Take a look at my shelves to see what I recommend in different categories. I love talking books!
On Bookbub, you can follow me to get updates on books I consider to be the best of the best. Since they email readers whenever I recommend a book, I only recommend books that are the cream of the crop and deserve being emailed to everyone because I really think everyone should love it! You’ll also get notified if I have a new book releasing through Bookbub.
I also post my most highly recommended in different categories on my “Melissa Jagears’s Recommends shop” on Bookshop. If you buy paperbacks from that website, they give a percentage to local bookstores to keep them alive!
On the Inspirational Historical Fiction Index, which I run, if you’re a lover of Christian Historicals like I am and want to be sure you know everything that comes out in that genre:
-
-
- You can either visit the website and use the super cool search function that let’s you pick several categories to search for the books you’d like to read. You can actually find out there if there is a book that is an Enemies-to-Lovers storyline set during the Civil War with a character who has a stutter in Maryland–and in fact, there is such a book! Go input all those into the search function at the top right corner of the page to find out what book it is!
-
- Or you can sign up for the Index’s newsletter, which I HIGHLY advise, because not only will you not forget to enter yourself into the monthly GIVEAWAY, but sometimes there are exclusive giveaways that only subscribers get access to.
